Inland Empire Company was organized in 1894 by Walter C. Sivyer, who was in the real estate and title insurance business; in 1912 became Walter C. Sivyer and Son, Company, and later Walter C. Sivyer and Son; invested in eastern Washington, northeastern Oregon, and northern Idaho electrical utilities. Includes records of King County Title Company, Seattle, Wash. (1926-1927); Puget Sound Title, Seattle, Wash. (1927-1962); Deschutes Power Company (1920-1926); Bend Light and Power Company (1912-1927); Enterprise Electric Company (1920-1926); Grangeville Power & Light (1925-1926); and Joseph Light & Power Company (1926).
